My Skating School — Special Figures SA
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the My Skating School platform ("the Platform"), operated by Special Figures SA ("we", "us", "the Organizer"), available at my.skatingschool.com.
By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge that you have read our Privacy Policy.
To use the Platform, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Accounts for students under the age of eighteen must be created and managed by the student's parent or guardian. The parent or guardian is responsible for all actions taken through the account, including registrations, cancellations, and any resulting charges.
You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information in your profile, and to update it promptly if it changes.
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts at our discretion, including but not limited to accounts that are inactive, associated with students who are no longer training with the School, or used in breach of these Terms.
The Platform is provided to support the activities of the Skating School of Switzerland. It allows students and their families to view training schedules, manage registrations, update their profile, upload music files, and communicate with the School. Instructors use the Platform to view schedules and bookings, access student profiles, enter lesson and patch logs, and play music files.
You agree to use the Platform only for its intended purposes and not to misuse it, interfere with its functioning, or attempt to access information or accounts that are not yours.
Registrations for lessons and patches made through the Platform are binding. Cancellations must be made through the Platform in accordance with the applicable deadlines.
For patches, the applicable terms are the Patch Terms and Conditions, which are agreed to at the point of purchase. Ice rules are displayed on the Platform and at the facilities and must be observed at all times.
Lessons must be cancelled at least 96 hours before the scheduled start time. Late cancellations may be subject to a charge of CHF 30.
The Platform allows students and staff to upload music files for use in training. By uploading a music file, you confirm that you have the right to use it for training purposes. Music files are accessible only to the School's administrative and coaching staff for playback during training sessions.
The Organizer accepts no responsibility for the content of music files uploaded by users and does not verify the copyright status of uploaded files. The user is solely responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable copyright laws.
You may submit notes, messages, or other content through the Platform in connection with your bookings or training. You agree that any such content will be appropriate, relevant, and not offensive or harmful.
We reserve the right to remove any content that we consider inappropriate.
The Platform, including its design, software, and content (excluding user-uploaded files), is the property of Special Figures SA. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Platform.
We aim to keep the Platform available and functioning, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Platform may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or due to technical issues.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Organizer shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, missed registrations, or scheduling errors. This limitation of liability does not apply to damage caused by gross negligence or intentional acts of the Organizer.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes have been published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by the substantive laws of Switzerland, without regard to the conflicts of laws principles thereof.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the ordinary courts of the Canton of Valais, Switzerland.
